About the Journal

The Tobruk University Journal of Medical Sciences (TUJMS) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access medical journal published by the University of Tobruk, Libya. The journal publishes high-quality, evidence-based research across biomedical, clinical, and public health disciplines, with the aim of advancing medical knowledge and improving health outcomes at regional and global levels.

TUJMS is led by an editor-in-chief and supported by associate editors and an international editorial board comprising experts from diverse medical and health science specialties. The editorial leadership oversees journal policy, editorial decisions, and the integrity of the peer-review process. Managing Editors and Editorial Office staff, based at the University of Tobruk, coordinate manuscript submission, peer review, production, and communication with authors and reviewers.
