Editorial Policy

The editorial board is committed to ensuring a fair, unbiased, timely, and confidential double-blind peer-review process. Editors are responsible for maintaining the integrity of the peer-review system and for making publication decisions based solely on the quality, originality, scientific merit, and relevance of the submitted work.

Editors must:

  • Declare and manage any conflicts of interest and recuse themselves where appropriate
  • Maintain the confidentiality of all submissions and related materials
  • Provide clear, constructive, and objective feedback to authors
  • Ensure that editorial decisions are made independently and are not influenced by commercial, institutional, political, or personal interests
  • Address suspected ethical concerns or research misconduct in accordance with the journal’s publication ethics policies and guidance from the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE)

Manuscripts that do not meet the journal’s scope, formatting, or ethical standards may be desk-rejected without external peer review.
