Information and communication technology (ICT) is considered a major principal in the social studies that focus on the activities related to information and communication. In addition, information and communication technology is growing especially after the emergence of new digital applications. Therefore, this study seeks to clarify the status of using the information and communication technology from a structural perspective based on a new structuration theoretical vision developed by Anthony Giddens. Even though the structuration theory does not fall into the field of communication and information, there are some empirical attempts to integrate its elements into the daily activities of individuals in institutions and organizations to perform administrative tasks that achieve overall organizational goals.
